West USA Realty opened its doors in April of l986 at its first location in Phoenix with 5000 square feet of Class A office space.  Clay Fouts, the President and Founder of West USA, had a five-year plan to encompass our Valley of the Sun with the finest branch offices and become the largest real estate firm in Arizona.  This feat was accomplished in just four years, in a down trend market environment.  Clay’s vision has always been to enrich you, the agent, as your advantage as a Realtor over your competition, which has kept the firm on the leading edge.

Clay Fouts’ entrepreneurial “vision” started several years prior to his involvement in real estate, as he spent many years in the financial planning industry.  As Division and Regional Manager of a large firm, Clay’s territories included much of the South and Western United States.  His “vision” materialized into opening his own financial planning firm in Phoenix and was licensed with the SEC and NASD as the licensed principal.  Clay’s “vision” turned to include the interests of his clients as they inquired about the Real Estate market as an investment venue.  So, Clay found a “new love” which was a tremendous opportunity for his clients.  Clay became a licensed real estate agent in 1974 specializing in residential, commercial and land and grew a huge referral base of clients due to his relational skills, determination and desire to help others become extremely successful.  Then Clay found it very difficult to find a company with continued growth that offered state of the art services to its agents at “affordable prices”.  Hence, West USA Realty was created in 1986.  In 1990, Clay’s “vision” started to include computer technology as he viewed this as the wave of the future. Which has expanded to this day offering you, the agent, your own virtual office including a plethora of additional features and benefits.  Once again, West USA pioneered computer technology and became the first company to become paperless by scanning documents into a virtual office environment, wherein you have the capability to open each file, view very page and print or email each one as needed.  At West USA, you will receive more value for the dollar spent than any company in the State.  After all, isn’t the most important thing to you, your bottom line!
